Busta Rhymes

Salute da Gods; from the album "Anarchy"

all praise due, we comin through real hard
niggaz raisin they right hand, salutin da god
yo, like a burnin sensation of henny on the first sip
hot sh-t my nigga; let me spit a verse quick
work sh-t inward, until my niggaz hurt sh-t
and plot elaborate schemes for monies niggaz worship
beautiful like the pleasure of when I burst my first clip
at a nigga who sold me a brick that wasn't worth sh-t

why we die; from the album "anarchy"

(why?) all my niggaz tell me (why) tell me (we die)
cause we crazy with it, quick to blaze you with it
from in my soul to every word that I curse
with all the agony expressed in this verse;
let me ask my niggaz (why?)
my niggaz tell me (why) tell me (we die)
because we gods nigga (and) we go the yard nigga
because I walk the ground under my feet
and keep it live and stay in tune with the street
now let me ask my niggaz (why?)

Busta Rhymes is very profane! He uses more curse words than any other rapper we have covered. And he believes that we are God. I remember seeing the Wayans Brother episode where the church needed money, so they invited Busta to perform to raise money for the church. Remember that? At least he was bleeping out the curse words. It could have been worse, I think. But that shows you the mentality of some church folks these days. It's a shame that so many of them listen to this kind of music.
