As we lay |
it’s morning and we slept the night away it happened now we can’t turn back the hands of time
yes, we’ve stolen this moment we forgot to face one simple fact we both belong to someone else as we slept the night away
it’s morning sunlight shines across your sleeping face, uh-huh a new day brings reality and we must go our separate way
what a lovely night we had, yeah, yeah as we share each other’s love we forgot all about the pain we caused as we slept the night away
as we lay we forget about tomorrow as we lay mmm, hmm, hey, hey as we lay, whoa... didn’t think about the price we have to pay oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no

| Hmm, Kelly Price is singing about Adultery. And she even has songs with profanity in them, yet she is currently on a Christian tour with Yolanda Adams and Mary Mary and others. It's a shame that this womans music is welcomed in the hearts of so many Christians and no one is saying anything. It may be a job to her, but so many youth are out there taking her music to heart. But the bible says that out of the heart flows the issues of life. I always wondered why some people would sing explicit music and then sing Gospel on the side. But it's all about the heart.
