Story by Cbn.com

Raised in poverty, Antonina Griffin wanted a better life, so she turned to drug dealing and gambling for financial security.

Griffin remembers growing up in a housing project in Greensboro, North Carolina. Most of her memories are often chaos in the community and at home.

It was her grandmother that wanted Antanina to break the family cycle of family poverty and violence. Despite her dream of a better life, she was drawn in by other influences. [taken from original cbn.com transcript]

There’s no one too far gone for the power of the cross. We must always endeavour to plant a seed no matter how dry the ground seems. One day the rain will come down and feed it ant it will germinate. Thank God for you sister.

While reading this story and holding my breath until the outcome, I can now exhale and say AMEN. God bless her for responding to God’s call. May God continue to bless and keep her family.

Wow. It was very brave of her to tell her testimony of how she overcame the unneccessry danger that she put herself and children through. It goes to show you that when you plant the seed of God’s word into your children, grandchildren, or anybody, God will move in their hearts and work on saving them. Only God can do that.
The word says “Train up a child in the way they SHOULD go, so that when they get old they WON’T depart from it.” I live by this everyday as I’m raising my little ones to know and love the Lord.
