japanesehiphopSince the 1970s the Hiphop subculture represented the streets and everything that was wrong with the black family.  It has also been a symbol of rebellion against its parent culture – American.
Today the Church has given Hiphop a platform and according to your favorite “Christian Hiphopper” God is raising up “indigenous  misssonaries” (a deep word for Hiphopper) in the “urban context” to redeem it.
Well not only has hiphop been an achilles heel to American culture but its also a problem in the Far East.
In Japan, young people are rejecting their Japanese culture and traditions for a now “Black lifestyle”.
I lived in Japan for 10 years and I’ve witnessed Japanese youth emulating the images of Hiphop aka “Black lifestyle”. From conrows, sagging pants to hoochies, thugs and calling each other Ni****.  Influence is like an unseen hand, after being exposed to Black Entertainment Television Japanese youth are giving up their identity and replace it with Hiphop.
So if the  American ‘Black” church thinks evangelizig youth with Hiphop is the answer, what is the answer in a country like Japan?  Do we need to send “indigenous missonaries” to Japan in black face with Jesus beats, and holy hoochies to win them?  Hiphop has always been a problem in our society and it continues to destroy cultures around the world. Arigatou gozaimasu Hiphop!  You don’t die you just mulitiply!

Yeah it’s a problem in Korea too. Ive seen the same thing there when I lived there and i hate it. East Asians absorb anything Western and they see nothing wrong with it because it’s fashion to them. They haven’t had it destroy their community yet but it will as their musicians continue to collaborate with American musicians. East Asians see Western culture as a side dish to their full course meal which is their parent culture. But as time goes on it the side dish is becoming the full course meal which is causing them to slowly starve for identity.

It appears that that demon was turned loose on one segment of society for implosion. I guess the destruction of other cultures is just an added bonus. Music is an extremely powerful force.

I am pretty sure some of you remember the Michael Jackson craze of the 80’s. I was in Japan at the beginning of the craze and a couple of Japanese people told me I looked like Michael Jackson. I dad never heard that before, and I have no heard it since.

Wait till you get a look at South Korea! One of the people I hung out with in school was obessed with Kpop and Korean hip hop and Korean RandB. The East is having an epidemic right now. Their music industry is just as bad, if not, worse than ours. Just full of Illuminati!

This is so true I live in Japan and see this almost everyday and most parents are just like that mom.. But I make it my job to let them know that we are all not like that & give a better example of African Americans that value family and you children’s future. You just don’t say do whatever you want cause your young … But what has to happen here is a culture change, which is what we do here, theirs a girl in our church chiaki she was just like those girls ,came across the truth and she doesn’t look, act, think the same, so it’s possible. Lol iono know why I’m typing all this BUT the video is so true.

98 percent of the mainstream music even gospel are owned by the same people. you will hard pressed to find a artist and label that is none owned by the big three ( Sony, Universal, Warner brothers ) all jewish owned. revelations 19:2 talks about the false jews in the end times who hate christ. these. jews follow the talmud which goes against what moses wrote. they own the federal reserve. they own disney which owns a host of news channels. scripture is fulfilling itself

I saw this on You Tube like two weeks ago. People like Hip Hop all over the world but never take into account the affects it’s had on blacks in the United States. The same can be said for Kpop. I watch a You Tube show called the April and Wade Show and Kpop is extremely demonic. There was a young boy from Korea who claimed to be Christian and when this particular video broke it down and backed it up with scripture he was shocked. They ALL sell out no matter their country of origin.

This is a bad time spiritually; the bible rings true about these last days. The decisions that are made in this system is disgraceful. It is a shame that people emulate the most lowest of behavior and attempt to pass it off as legitimate. The sad thing is, we have generations of young folks who buy into this behavior .

I saw this clip on youtube about a month ago and thought wow, the enemy is making the fashion look cool and hip with the music, so he can drag other cultures into that ungodly lifestyle! I had never heard of kpop until like @Taura I saw their video on the April show being exposed for it’s demonic influence… Lord Jesus we need you~

Am Sad for some parent they think in the youthful days of their children they have to allow them to enjoy whatever they want. not thinking that that lifestyle will change their behavior. Parent have forgotten that Bible says that you reap what you sow.

I have seen a lot of comments here from people, and some of them are not completely informed. First, as a Christian I am appalled at the sheer impact that hiphop has on the world today. Honestly, I didn’t know those women in the video weren’t Black by just looking at their faces and hair (although the clothes and stuff is another story altogether).

As a Black person who traveled a little bit overseas and stayed for an extended time within a multi-ethnic context, I experienced first-hand how poorly the media portrays us and how poorly we allow celebrities reflecting our culture portray us. Surely there are more positive images of Black people, but they often are not shown or displayed in my opinion. In my courses and just walking around, there were people who really thought that all black men acted like Kanye and all women were like Beyonce. In their ignorance (which is part of the issues we see with the people in this video), they have no clue what this subculture is and how it is not reflective of what it means to be black (which really needs to be reexamined). This hip hop culture is NOT exclusive to the Western world nor was it inspired by it. In fact, it was created in opposition to the Western world (which has its own faults btw). Hip hop knows no racial, gender, economic, sexual (etc.) bounds. It just takes prisoners of its hearers and makes them ascribe to self-worship at its core.

It is really sad, it doesn’t matter want race it is hip hop don’t care it’s from the devil god made man kind all races of people the devil is a lie he only come to steal and destroy and he is taking our young people down. We as christian’s we just have to continue seeking and praying for the youth, because hip hop has gotten so demonic till you see young people on Facebook throwing up the demonic symbol. Some know the truth some don’t. But it ant cool that what the devil want for the young people to worship him he wants his place back. Thank god for Pastor G Craig Lewis who is warning the church about the so call christian hip hop it ain’t godly.

God need to help us fast because there is no pleasure in this at the end of the day. All cultures are being affected in such a negative way. I pray God help all of us soon.

    2 Timothy 3:1-7,13-15 KJV
[1] This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. [2] For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, [4] Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; [5] Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. [6] For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, [7] Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. [13] But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. [14] But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them ; [15] And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

It’s like everything HIP HOP is about was warned of!
