I woke up this morning, only to read a headline that stated: Muslim flight attendant suspended for not serving alcohol! I was immediately taken back to my message Sunday where I spoke some of the things that I’m putting in this blog. Please open up your mind and heart to receive this. It may disagree with your passion and ferver as a believer, but we need to strategize in this last hour in order to effectually portray Christ with consistency and without personal agendas.
The situation in Kentucky is about to spurn these types of incidents. Although Kim Davis is a hero to believers, she was wrong for not obeying the rules of her job description according to the laws that govern the state. Once people start doing this, it will lead to the immoral civil rights movement! People will begin to use their own moral interpretation of what is appropriate in the workplace, instead of abiding by the laws that govern their jobs.
We should stand up for what is right, but not by changing the rules of our jobs and disrespecting the job description because it suddenly conflicts with our beliefs. In those situations we should resign from our positions and seek God for guidance. When we have the option to either obey the job description or quit, we should quit. But when it’s a case of not being allowed to “freely” express our Christian faith in private or within our freedom of speech rights, then that’s when we must stand firm and face the penalty of whatever the government institutes. (Daniel, 3 Hebrew Boys) We cannot take a Christian stand on the devil’s dime! That is using the kingdom of the enemy against itself and that goes against what Jesus taught about a house divided. The bible is clear that in the last days we will not be able to buy or sell without accepting antichrist. This is exactly what is happening here. Because of our beliefs we will be shut out of certain money making opportunities. And no matter how much we hate losing the job, if the employer takes a stand for the kingdom of darkness then when we attempt to use his money for our own resolve then we are disobeying scripture. 1Pet. 2:18
Remember, Daniel did his job in Babylon and because he did it with excellence, they had nothing on him, but rather made up a law banning prayer, in his private time, to get him executed! Same with the 3 Hebrew boys. These men faced death because they refused to honor false gods while in bondage! How do we expect any employer to continue to pay us when we are not obeying the rules of the job description? Though my heart goes out to Kim, I would have advised her to quit the job quietly and take things up with our true provider, Father God! He can always make a way out of no way. This could have prompted others that saw her stand to inquire about her relationship with God. But by being disobedient to the job description, she has opened the door for other things that will make this situation spiral out of control. Instead of expecting something for not doing her job properly, she could have moved on and kept the media attention off this situation. The worst part of this is what the media is gonna do concerning it. Just keep watching!
In our country, we have freedom to be Christian, but we do not have the freedom to disobey a job description and expect to be paid and/or keep our job. And when it comes to government jobs, the penalty for non compliance is usually jail or fines! I knew that situation would lead to this muslim situation and this will lead to more people interpreting their own job descriptions which will ultimately lead to mutany and marshall law!
People, don’t use your faith as an opportunity to get media attention. When they infringe on our Faith in the work place and attempt to make us compromise our beliefs, we only have one course of action. Humble Resignation! This way, we will not have to “obey those masters” that are over us because they are no longer paying us!
Until He Returns,

1Pet. 2:18 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.
1Pet. 2:19 For this is thank worthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
1Pet. 2:20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
Rev. 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
Rev. 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
