Kirk Franklin asked his Christian friends to observe Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump’s spiritual fruit.
Franklin, the 46-year-old gospel music artist, songwriter and producer questioned if the Republican presidential candidate had any evidence of the fruits of the spirit described in Galatians 5:22.
“I hope all my evangelical friends who are considering Trump also remember one of fruits of the spirit is kindness … where’s the apples,” Franklin tweeted
Last year, Franklin spoke out against Christian pastors who decided to publicly stand with Trump. The minister of music engaged in a Twitter rant against Trump’s pastoral supporters after the presidential hopeful reportedly called for the banning of Muslims entering the United States.

Pot Calling the Kettle Black
“You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye. Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces. Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you. (Matt 7:5-6)
Kirk Franklin is calling for believers to inspect Donald Trumps “spiritual fruit” which are his works and actions. But when Kirk Franklin’s “spiritual fruit” is inspected we find that he has denounced the religion of the bible, merged with antichrist artists (Kanye West), dancing sexually provocative on stage, and creating stage shows that promote him, his works, his abilities, his fame and his accomplishments! (20 years in one night shows). So, Kirk, do you really want to call the kettle black in this scenario? Did you inspect Kanye West’s “spiritual fruit” before you recorded with him, performed with him, and anointed him as your brother in the faith?”
We at EX Ministries are not by any means supporting Trump or any other presidential candidate. We do not do that. We keep ministry totally separate from our pagan governmental elections. However, we had to chime in on this because this is ludicrous. It’s amazing that Kirk Franklin could make this statement all the while promoting the world and an antichrist artist as his brother in the faith all for the sake of relevance and album sales. Shame!
