Rev. 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
On day 2 of The Truth Behind Hip Hop X – Pop Life, we discussed the mark of the beast. The mark of the beast is everywhere. It’s in just about every major corporation’s logo and insignia. You cannot buy or sell without it. It’s even on our money. Though these physical markings are used in our daily transactions, we are not, as believers, to receive them on our wrists (our actions) or on our foreheads (our thoughts/decisions), but we are to remain true to God’s seal (Christs Laws). We are in the world, but not of the world. We do not accept the agenda of the illuminati (compromise) as believers. We should not believe the spirits that come from them. We should keep our focus on what is right and what is true.
I know many preach that microchips, tattoos, and other physical markings on our bodies could be the mark of the beast. But God used symbolism in the Old Testament to mark His people. The people made choices by their thoughts and actions that dictated their allegiance. I believe the mark of the beast works the same way. The elite use symbolism to show their allegiance and they use pagan symbols in their logos and insignia to show who they serve. Just like Daniel did in Babylon, we as believers work for these companies and even use their pagan currency to buy and sell, but we do not worship their gods. The key is who you are worshiping because you cannot escape the mark or the image of the beast.
The images of the beast are everywhere. For example, when you see lewd images of superstar celebrities, you are viewing images of the beast. And when you purchase their music, follow them, and crave them, you are worshipping their images. Sure they are on our TV’s and pretty much every magazine you purchase. But they should never be in our hearts. We should never covet celebrities, or even desire to be like them as believers. We are to be like Christ alone. We must be careful in this present world not to get consumed by the worldly desires and carnal passions that these people promote.
1John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
We must keep our focus on what God wants for us and how we can keep His will prevalent in all that we do. The mark of the beast is here and many have already pledged their allegiance to the beast. But those of us that are true believers must keep the seal of God upon our wrists and foreheads as we navigate through these perilous times. Sure, I have the mark of the beast in my wallet, and it’s sitting right on the Starbucks logo where I am typing this. But the mark of the beast will never be in my thoughts or actions because my allegiance will remain to the God of all Gods. His seal preserves me and I worship Him alone!
Deut. 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
Who is Antichrist? This question has baffled believers for many centuries and yet the answer is simple to obtain. The Scriptures reveal that in the end times there will be many antichrists. Because the church has been so focused on one global leader for so long, the spirit of antichrist has crept into the Christian church unawares. In this dynamic 6-part series, G. Craige Lewis unveils the spirit of antichrist and those men that promote it. False prophets, false doctrines, and Catholic-based hierarchies of the modern day church have distorted the true end times message of the bible. G. Craige Lewis deals with many of these falsehoods in this series and provides hope and instruction for our journey into the End of Days. Get your copy now!
